A superbly comfortable rocking chair. Oak frame with authentic hickory bark seating, Both the oak trees and hickories grow in a grove near Foresters' Falls along the Ottawa River. In June, David Fleming gathers the bark - a very laborious process - to make a select few rocking chairs each year. The design originated with Brian Boggs, a chairmaker in Kentucky, and David's added a few of his own touches. With your inseam length, shoulder to elbow distance and overall height, he can custom size the rocker for you. It's very rewarding to make such a satisfying chair for his clients.
